Jake Sweeney didn't come up through finance. Before trading, he spent years as a personal trainer and worked at a neurological rehabilitation center helping paralyzed patients relearn movement - work that required the same things good trading does: discipline, patience, and trusting a process when results aren't immediate.

He joined the Verified Investing team in late 2025. Now a Verified Pro, Jake works the trading desk daily alongside Gareth Soloway and a team of experienced technical analysts - studying price action, building options fluency, and developing his own approach to reading market structure. Every day is a live classroom.

His focus is options. Not the theory - the mechanics. Strike selection, strategy structure, risk definition, and how to translate a chart setup into a trade that makes sense.
